My research group consists of graduate students (MS and PhD) and postdoctoral scholars who are conducting independent research on past climates. We also train undergraduate students in lab practices and support senior capstone experiences. Our lab manager oversees the Organic Geochemistry Lab, assists with research, and helps with student training. If you are interested in joining the group check out the Opportunities page.

We are currently looking for a new lab manager! We are seeking somebody with good organizational skills, experience fixing things (need not be mass specs), and who is interesting in helping train students in lab techniques. If you interested, please apply here.
Dr. Ronnakrit Rattanasriampaipong
Postdoctoral Scholar
Ronnakrit (“Ronnie”) is a NOAA Climate & Global Change Fellow studying marine glycerol dialkyl glycerol tetraethers (GDGTs) and developing new proxy system models for these lipids. Visit Ronnie’s personal site
Dr. Elke Zeller
Postdoctoral Scholar
Elke is participating in our paleoWeather project, assessing how vegetation changes affect past warm climates. Visit Elke’s personal site
Kira Harris
PhD Student
Kira is studying Late Quaternary climate changes in the Southwest USA, using marine sediments and a novel use of biomarkers in packrat middens. Kira is jointly advised with Dr. Kevin Anchukaitis.
Maya Tessler
PhD Student
Maya is using paleoclimate data assimilation to investigate cloud and convection parameters in climate models and reconstruct climate across the past glacial cycle.
Trang Trần
PhD Student
Trang is studying past climate change in the Indo-Pacific Warm Pool using leaf wax isotopes and SST proxies.
